In memory of our father and husband, Griff Graves, we proudly present our Coffee Toffee. Griff was the first and biggest fan of our toffee, and we spent countless hours in the kitchen to create a recipe that he would love. Now, we want to share this special toffee with you.
Our Coffee Toffee builds upon our original pecan and dark chocolate toffee by adding a touch of espresso, which provides an excellent counterpoint to the sweet toffee center. We use a precise blend of dark chocolates, originally formulated in our home kitchen, to coat the toffee. This unique blend perfectly highlights the buttery sweetness of the toffee and balances the nutty flavor of the pecan finish.
The addition of espresso to our original recipe gives the Coffee Toffee a unique, one-of-a-kind twist. We believe that the espresso adds an excellent counterpoint to the sweetness of the toffee, resulting in a perfectly balanced flavor combination.
Established in memory of Dina Bray, Christy's mom and Mark's mother-in-law, Chapel Hill Toffee has a deep-rooted history. Dina was our biggest cheerleader and most tireless volunteer, as she wanted nothing more than to help her family succeed. In her honor, we donate a portion of the sale of every box of toffee to the Dina's Dynasty Ovarian Cancer Fund.
Our Coffee Toffee is a true labor of love, crafted with care and attention to detail. We hope that you'll enjoy this unique and delicious treat, and that it will bring you as much joy as it did our dear Griff. Thank you for being a part of our story.
